Mini UGSProfiler Energy Monitoring System
The "Mini" energy monitoring system is a cost effective standalone real time energy monitoring system which addresses the budgetary constraints of institutional and government customers. (see the Technology Section for more information)
Energy Tutor
The "Energy Tutor" is designed to enhance Government programs which support green energy sustainability. We believe that energy sustainability should start with energy education and to realize our belief, UGS has developed the "Energy Tutor" which is specially designed for educational facilities.
The "Energy Tutor" is an educational tool as well as an effective energy management system which allows students to interact, in real time, with certain components of their school energy systems. Students can see the cost impacts of operating or shedding certain loads (water heaters, lighting, A/C or chillers) in real time. Learning can be further enhanced through competitions between schools to optimize performance measures such as kWh/Sq.ft. School operators can also use the "Energy Tutor" system to effectively optimize the school energy plants.
The Mini energy monitoring system and the Energy Tutor services are aimed at:
- Helping institutional customers minimize their energy management costs
- Providing a technology platform that government customers can use to demonstrate their energy management successes to other market sectors
- Providing a learning tool which encourages young people to respect the environment and to use energy resources wisely.
